Jennifer Lee, Assoc. AIA, is an award winning, published residential designer with a Bachelors degree in Architecture from the University of Oregon.


Jennifer's projects have been featured twice in Luxe Magazine. Before owning her own business, Jennifer worked as a designer and project manager in architecture firms in Oregon and California for 25 years.


She is currently a sole proprietor of Bay Area Designs, a residential design firm based in Palo Alto, specializing in new and remodeled homes with a "warm-modern" aesthetic. Jennifer is capable of completing the whole house design from schematics through permitting. She is a Certified Green Building Professional with Build It Green and an Associate Member of the American Institute of Architects. She prizes herself on being a good communicator, and passionate designer. Jennifer strives for a collaborative and fun design experience with her clients, and shares in the pride of beautiful and functional results!

My husband and I bought a home in San Mateo in 2021. We loved the large lot but the house was small and outdated. We knew we needed some help so we interviewed several people. Jennifer stood out to us because of her knowledge and ability to communicate that made us feel comfortable and confident with the process. We were impressed with her approach, style, and flexibility.
